Readers and Eucharistic Ministers assist in our weekly Masses, and meet annually for a retreat and re-certification. If you are interested in proclaiming the Word of God at Mass, or assisting in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass, call the Parish Office, 978-544-2900 or speak with Fr. Shaun about preparation and training.
Eucharistic Home Visitors bring the Body of Christ from our weekend or weekday Masses to the homebound on behalf of the pastor.. Each bring the Holy Sacrament to one or two individuals and prays with them, and lets Father know of their spiritual and practical needs. Father will join them on visits, to hear Confession and offer the Anointing of the Sick.

Frederic Ozanam, a young man in Paris in the earl 1800s, was looking for a away to put his Catholic faith into action. Sr. Rosalie Rendu, a sister in a religious order Vincent de Paul founded, guided Frederic to discover practical ways of serving those in need. Frederic formed a group of university students, which he named the St. Vincent de Paul Society, to carry on the work. Both Frederic, a layman, and Sr. Rosalie, a professed religious, were beatified by Pope John Paul II.
Our St. Mary's group carries on the tradition, providing a food pantry and assistance with rent and bills to those who are in need. The board meets monthly on the 2nd Monday in the Parish Hall, which is also where the Food Pantry is located.
